With more than 2,000 alumni calling San Diego home, Terriers have access to a robust BU network for social connections, professional development, and enriching activities. 

Whether you’re a recent BU graduate, you’ve just relocated to San Diego, or you’ve lived here for years, we invite you to join San Diego area Terriers this fall for a reception at THE LOT in La Jolla on October 23rd where you can connect with fellow San Diego Terriers, meet your alumni neighbors, and learn more about how to connect with your BU network.

Registration includes light appetizers as well as one drink ticket per registrant. Additional beverages are available for purchase. Space is extremely limited.

Event FAQs

​Q: Is there a dress code?
A: No, there is no dress code.

Q: Am I allowed to register and bring non-alumni friends?
A: Yes, however all attendees are required to be registered. Alumni are encouraged to come to this event and connect with new alumni and friends. Some locations may have limits on guests due to event capacity.

Q: Can I show up and register on-site the night of the event?
A: If there is space available, alumni can register on-site but will be required to sign up on this registration page. Cash, check, and in-person credit card payments will not be accepted. Alumni are highly encouraged to pre-register for this event, as most events will sell out. If you encounter issues registering online, please contact the Alumni Help Desk at alumni@bu.edu

Q: I do not have BU Connects, how do I sign up and where do I find the promo code?
A: Alumni can sign up for BU Connects by visiting www.buconnects.com. Once you have been verified on the site (this can take up to 1-3 business days), find your local network's group, click the event tab, and promo code will be located within the event description for Welcome to Your Network.

Q: Is there a special price for the Class of 2025?
A: Yes, all members of the Class of 2025 will receive an individual email for Welcome to Your Network that will include the promo code for free registration. If you are a member of the Class of 2025 and did not receive this, please reach out to alumni@bu.edu. Please note, non-Class of 2025 graduates who use this promo code will have their registration cancelled.

Q: Why has the price of this event increased since last year?
A: With the rising cost of event locations, along with the changing landscape of higher education and available budgeting, the BUAA has made the decision to adjust registration fees for alumni events when necessary to reflect what is included with registration more accurately. Should you face financial hardship that may prevent you from being able to register for this event, please contact alumni@bu.edu.

Q: I'm interested in helping volunteer and/or plan future alumni events in my network. Who can I contact?
A: You can find your network's staff contact person by visiting the BUAA Get Involved page.

Q: I have additional questions not listed here. Who can I contact?
A: Please reach out to the Alumni Help Desk at alumni@bu.edu with your questions, and they can be directed to the event manager who can best be of help. The Alumni Help Desk is monitored Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
