Lavender Fund
Aims to ensure that students are empowered to build up and connect the LGBTQIA+ community at BU Law

Available Challenges

Last June, we were pleased to announce the creation of two funds that directly support our LGBTQIA+ students: the Lavender Fund and the Eric & Neil Stine-Markman Scholarship Fund. Now, in honor of the first recipient of the Stine-Markman Scholarship Fund this semester, Eric Stine (’97) has once again stepped forward with a challenge to the rest of the alumni community: if 50 individuals make a gift of any size to either the Stine-Markman Scholarship or the Lavender Fund by December 31, he will make an additional $10,000 gift to his scholarship

Public Interest Project Fund
PIP provides funding for students working in unpaid public interest and government internships. PIP grants help these organizations by providing free assistance in the form of energetic law students with diverse goals and experiences.

Law School Scholarships Fund
When it comes to law school, “who attends?” is usually who can afford to attend. We are committed to making a legal education more accessible, and toward that end, we have the lowest tuition of any private law school in the U.S. News top 25, and 90 percent of our JD students receive financial aid. Philanthropy makes this possible.
